We're talking about GoldenBit (https://www.goldenbit.co.il/), a company that handles money for people in insurance, retirement funds, and investments. They want you to think they’re a trusted, experienced company that gives "personal and careful service,” and combines many different kinds of expertise. For over 30 years, they've worked hard to create an image of responsibility and trustworthiness. It’s a lie.

They brag about their “team of experts” who graduated from top consulting firms and Israel's biggest banks, and say they’re “loyal partners” in helping people with their money and health. That’s not true. They haven't protected the information of the people they claim to serve.

We're sharing a lot of information that we got from GoldenBit’s computer systems. A part of this, about 1.5GB, is being released now. Think of it as a first look at how badly they’re failing.

Their security is laughably bad – not just a small problem, but a sign of how they do things.

Pictures of ID documents and driver’s licenses, stored without any care for privacy.
Information about clients’ finances and investment plans.
